Noah Doerflinger
Noah Doerflinger

Bridge of Aspirations - CEO & Founder, Interim Board President

Noah Tyler Doerflinger is the Founder, CEO, and Board Advisor of Bridge of Aspirations Foundation. With extensive experience in the medical field, Noah served for seven years as a first responder on the Iron City Fire and Rescue Squad, holding certifications in vehicle extrication (commonly known as the "jaws of life"), CPR, landing zone technician (to safely secure landing zones for medical helicopters), and pump operations. In 2015, he led operations at the Wayne County, Tennessee Disaster Relief Center for three months during the aftermath of a deadly tornado that impacted the communities of Lutts, Downing Hollow, Collinwood, and Ovila. In addition to his emergency response work, Noah has held leadership positions throughout high school and college, including roles in the Student Government Association and Interact. Noah is currently pursuing his Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration at Tennessee Technological University. He also led the initiative to implement enhanced security features at the new higher education building in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, following the tragic events at The Covenant School in Green Hills, Tennessee, in 2023. A participative, strategic, and solution-oriented leader, Noah strives to create an environment where everyone—from the president of the board of directors to the cleaning staff—feels heard, appreciated, respected, and rewarded for their time and dedication. He is deeply committed to treating every employee, client, and partner with respect, compassion, dignity, loyalty, and integrity. His vision for the company is to foster a team-oriented atmosphere where individuals are excited to contribute to the organization’s mission: reducing the barriers that prevent millions from accessing healthcare. Noah believes that when identifying problems, it is essential not only to bring them to leadership’s attention but also to provide input on how to address and resolve them. He places great emphasis on long-term planning to ensure the sustainability of the company’s operations, with a goal of providing healthcare for decades, if not centuries, to come. While Noah is a big-picture thinker, he recognizes the importance of tackling the immediate tasks at hand and breaking down the steps needed to achieve overall objectives. He is grateful for the leadership of the board of directors and the executive staff and is excited to see where the company will be in the next five years. As Tim McGraw says, "Always be humble and kind. Hold the door, say please, say thank you, don’t steal, don’t cheat, and don’t lie. I know you’ve got mountains to climb, but always stay humble and kind. When the dreams you’re dreamin’ come to you, when the work you put in is realized, let yourself feel the pride, but always stay humble and kind."

Gavin Walker
Gavin Walker

Lead Front-End Developer

Gavin Walker is a current Senior at Tennessee Tech University and is set to receive his Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science December, 2025. Through his time in college he has developed a strong passion for web development through various classes and partaking of personal projects. His faith is also very important to him and it is actually what allowed him and Noah Doerflinger to meet. Gavin leads a Bible Study on his college campus and one day Noah was in the building and joined them for their Bible Study. Noah took part in various meetings with them and also services at the Gathering. Noah saw that Gavin had a passion for building websites and web apps and approached him with the idea of building a website for the Bridge of Aspirations Foundation around the time of its founding. Gavin was eager to take part in this mission because his values aligned closely with the Foundation's and was very excited to see what good they could do for healthcare workers and those in need of healthcare.

Thomas Robertson
Thomas Robertson

Project Manager & Back-End Developer

Thomas Robertson is a current Senior at Tennessee Tech University and is set to receive a second Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science December 2025. Thomas originally specialized in Biochemistry and began transitioning careers from the medical field to technology shortly after the COVID pandemic. During this time period Thomas, like many of his fellow colleagues, contracted COVID. He was subsequently hospitalized and nearly died from mass organ failure. The resulting health complications necessitated a change of future plans, which encouraged his career transition. Since then, he drives head first into tackling new challenges and helping people. Thomas assisted with building the website for Bridge of Aspirations as a desire to help facilitate new inductees into the medical field through the organizations contributions.

Aidan Gillespie
Aidan Gillespie

Lead Back-End Developer

Aidan Gillespie is a Senior at Tennessee Tech University and will graduate in December 2025 with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. He plans to continue his studies by pursuing a Master’s Degree in Computer Science with a concentration in Machine Learning. For the Bridge of Aspirations project, Aidan focused on the DevOps side of development, ensuring the technical infrastructure supported the Foundation’s mission. He has a strong appreciation for the value of education, shaped by his own family’s journey—his father earned a bachelor’s degree in 2015 and his mother will graduate in the spring. These experiences have given him a deep understanding of the challenges students face in pursuing higher education and have inspired his commitment to supporting opportunities that make education more accessible.
